I have a number of videos, but no time to process them… so we’re going to stick to photos for now and come back for some videos like we did last time.
Dialogue, September 26th-27th Brendan, leaning through our front door: “Can Ian come out and play?” Ian, holding up the iPad: “I will but I just have to finish playing this really cool robot game!”
Ian, after being praised for trying his potatoes, and apparently playing one too many video games: “I did it! I got the key that opens the lock door!”
Ian: “I know God made water but where did he get it?”
Ian, after being hurt, and while crying and wailing, took a breath and forced out: “Waaah!! You’re going to have to play with my toys for me because I can’t move my arm!!”
Ian, from the back seat of my car: “I have hide seeker eyes. They let me see things that you can’t see. I see a pig under a submarine but you can’t see it, do you know why? Because you don’t have hide seeker eyes.”
Ian: “You sit here next to me and I… will sit next to you.”
Ian: “I need to tell you about a dream I dreamed last night, mommy. I dreamed that I was asleep. And then I dreamed another dream…”
Same day, I took the kids over to a nearby park, expecting them to have the same wooden fortress of a playground that they had during my last visit… but everything had changed. See this image larger.

I think once we get through some of our newer situations, we’re going to start weening the kids off of so much TV and iPad stuff. See this image larger.
I was so impressed with this space ship, I think I’m going to borrow the general design for a project. See this image larger.

Wrapping Up September
I have a number of videos, but no time to process them… so we’re going to stick to photos for now and come back for some videos like we did last time.
September 26th, Ian and Nina take a ride in the Thomas tent. See this image larger.
Choo choo! See this image larger.
Same day, I took the kids over to a nearby park, expecting them to have the same wooden fortress of a playground that they had during my last visit… but everything had changed. See this image larger.
And you know, change is good sometimes. See this image larger.
Nobody mentioned the word “splinters” or “bees” this day, for example. See this image larger.
Nina approved of the changes and drove the park home. See this image larger.
Reminder, oversize hat on Ian results in no pictures of his face. See this image larger.
Nina kept directing me here, I think she wanted a photoshoot in the grass. See this image larger.
I think this is Spanish for “Your kids need to be between 5 and 12 years old.” They aren’t. They did great anyway. See this image larger.
September 27th, more iPad time. See this image larger.
Nina flies a ship around the living room! See this image larger.
And now it is book time! See this image larger.
The night of September 29th I could tell conditions were right for a rainbow, and we got a great big one. See this image larger.
Make that two! See this image larger.
Artsy Lens, Part II
Same day, check out his nubby little teeth, heh! See this image larger.
Gotta remind myself to remove all eye boogers before photoshoot. See this image larger.
Someday me calling these his “Luke Skywalker Hair Days” will make more sense to him. See this image larger.
Still has a heart of gold. See this image larger.
Like this one a lot for some reason. See this image larger.
So easy to hold still while staring at the TV. Sigh. See this image larger.
Love this one. Would make a neat painting, almost abstract. See this image larger.
I think once we get through some of our newer situations, we’re going to start weening the kids off of so much TV and iPad stuff. See this image larger.
Still, like I said… a good time to take pictures. See this image larger.
I was so impressed with this space ship, I think I’m going to borrow the general design for a project. See this image larger.
Artsy Lens, Part I
September 24th, and I pulled out the artsy lens to see what kind of images we would get! Practice shot on the kitty. See this image larger.
*What’re you doin’?* See this image larger.
Nina plays with one of Ian’s tool sets. See this image larger.
Lately I’ve been loving my kids’ toes and fingers for some reason. So cute! See this image larger.
Nina tries to find another cheerio. See this image larger.
This has potential for her the cover of her next album “Diaper Rash Hurts Everybody.” See this image larger.
