CENTER FOR CREATIVE STUDIES
Interface Design/Programming (while with Square One Design)
Center for Creative Studies, based in Detroit, came to Square One with a need to look more creative online. Also designed two spreads/pages. In addition to my other duties, I got to make some fun little interactive toys like the lines on this page. They turned a bright blue when touched, and made a tone like a wind-chime.
JEUP FURNITURE
Design/Programming (while with Square One Design)
I designed the whole site to work like a horizontal slider. The user could click a button along the top to make large leaps by category, or little steps along the bottom by clicking on each piece. The map was made so that you could click by dot on the map, or by city name on the right.
SCOTT GROUP CUSTOM CARPETS
Design/Programming (Partnered with Brandon Gohsman, while with Square One Design)
Scott Group makes very exclusive custom carpeting. One of the nicest ended up in the Oval Office. Yes, that Oval Office!The site was meant to feel wide and long. The secondary navigation even works its way horizontal, rather than spill out vertically. The more horizontal the site became, the more it felt like “carpet.”
SQUARE ONE DESIGN
Interface Design/Programming (while with Square One)
This was a digital holiday card; a click on each face revealed that person’s holiday good wishes. I also designed one spread/page.
