Uncle Chris is finally on Xbox LIVE with a broadband connection. I got to play poker with him last night and chat and catch up on his life. Really cool to be connected that way. The first pic I tried to send him with my camera failed, but I took a picture of the picture with my camera. (See above.) Uncle Chris is going to buy the same little camera that I have, and we’ll be able to video chat whenever we like — and even play some games while video chatting. (We can audio chat during any game… don’t even have to both be playing the same game.) So not only will the brothers Chapman be re-connected despite the miles, but a nephew will get to see more of his uncle. Pretty cool for just a bunch of video games, if you ask me. 🙂
There’s a bunch of fancy plastic wagons you can get these days, spending one’s money on cup-holders and special compartments and whatnot. This one wasn’t cheap, but it is metal, with big soft rubber tires. Dada put it together, time to take it for a spin!
Moments later, now with a coat and hat on… you can see our elaborate safety harness on the back there… It’s actually a backpack-like bag… I just stuck the straps through the guard-rail. Whatever works, right? See this image larger.
Apparently a helicopter just crashed into a hospital. Melissa was there doing some work for a client. She wrote me about it from the office, so I know she’s safe. Apparently the helicopter crew was doing a training exercise and it didn’t go so hot. Melissa was in an underground level at the time. Two people on board are alive, one of them is the pilot. The rest is unknown at this time.
