My Apples

Don’t get me wrong, Nina has said things like “MINE” before. And she’s had to say that quite a bit, as you can probably imagine. This video shows Nina going from “Apples” to “My Apples.” It’s a step up in communication that is vital. In the past month-and-a-half, we’ve gone from understanding about 10% of what she says, to somewhere near 60% of what she says. And she’s saying SO much.

Which reminds me… I watched that hilarious video where Nina is talking to Mommy after getting swatted by Ian, and I figured out an additional line of dialogue. She doesn’t just say “Is he a wise guy?” No, she says “What’s the idea? Is he a wise guy?” And it makes your realize just how much she’s picking up.
