Grandma Barb and Grampa Ray Visit, May 2009, Part I

On Friday, May 29th, Grandpa Ray and Grandma Barb arrived here in Rockford, and we had a great visit! Here’s some of the fun stuff that happened!

Ian learned that corn does not magically appear from a package, like the way a hot dog is born. See this image larger.

Sure it is hard work… See this image larger.

…but Grampa Ray made it fun! See this image larger.

Perhaps there’s another layer, even deeper, with toys inside!!! See this image larger.

Your beard needs a trim, Grampa! See this image larger.

Then inside for some bubbles with Grandma Barb! See this image larger.

Ian and Grandma enjoyed some books together… See this image larger.

Ian was thrilled to have more playmates! See this image larger.

We can tell Ian probably doesn’t need a real dog on the basis of the humiliation that this stuffed animal has had to endure… See this image larger.

Ian likes to look through catalogs — but he isn’t shopping, he’s just looking for things to talk about. See this image larger.

Showing Ian how the camera works… I bounced the flash off the ceiling so that I didn’t zap him right in the face! See this image larger.

An impromptu game of catch turned into some kind of crazy gymnastics routine. Where’d that kid’s pants go anyway? See this image larger.

I know he takes after his mommy, but I’m not too sure about him taking modern dance lessons this early in life… (he’s actually winding “down” after a pitch!) See this image larger.
