Last day before our holiday trip!

Ian had a great day! He played outside with the bikes. He loves pushing them around. He bubble painted w/ star cookie cutters. He also enjoyed circle time.

And here’s what happened today that was funny:

Just two nights ago Mama tried to get Ian to eat corn on the cob from the cob. Sure he eats corn, but it didn’t surprise me at all that he needed the corn chopped off the cob. So we were surprised that tonight Ian actually seemed to sink his teeth into the corn a bit… tentatively at first! See this image larger.

In fact, poor Mama had really just planned on giving him a little bit of her obviously adult-sized portion of corn, but Ian ate the whole thing, just like a little expert! See this image larger.

Yesterday I mentioned the Sandpiper family that skitters around the house…
