January Goes Out Like a Lamb, Part I

Don’t forget to scroll down if you haven’t been here lately, lots of updates!

In the last entry I mentioned Nina’s jump in walking and talking, over the course of the next several entries you’ll see some of the results of that.

Click here to watch Nina in the tub on January 29th. I’ll say more about Nina and the tub in a moment, but for now I want you to listen to her speak. You tell me if you hear shades of the following phrases, right at the beginning.
“Look at dis.”
“I did that.”
“Did you see?”

Click here to watch another Nina tub moment. In this one listen for:
“I got it.”

Now, about baths in general, here’s a note from the present as we look back on the past: It should be noted that before February 14th, we had no idea why Nina fought so very hard to get to the bathroom tile floor. The night of the 14th, we let Nina go a little further, and little girl went straight to the bathtub, scaled the side of it and ended up almost going headfirst into the empty tub, Mommy dragging Nina away while she scrambled for purchase, squeegee-groan-like squeals of protest emitting from the skin of her fingers. Turns out our little princess looooves a good bath.

Back to the past, here we are the same night as that video above, January 29th. See this image larger.

I did this with Ian back in the day as well… gotta get shots of the back of these kids sometimes too. I should do more profiles as well, but whatever, I digress. See this image larger.

Cutest raspberry on Earth! See this image larger.

At this point she had four teeth, but number five and six were coming quick, on the bottom. See this image larger.
